What E13 / EE / F0 / PS (Kenmore hybrid heat-pump) Means
Four hybrid-dryer messages that catch owners out: E13 for a drain pump failure, EE for a software failure on the main control board, F0 because the machine refuses to run with the lint filter removed, and PS for a power supply problem.
Common Causes of E13 / EE / F0 / PS (Kenmore hybrid heat-pump)
- The lint filter left out after cleaning
- A blocked condensate drain hose or a failed drain pump
- A supply leg missing, or a main control board software failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
F0 is the easy one — put the lint filter back in. For E13, check the condensate drain hose for kinks or a clog before assuming the pump has failed.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Running a heat-pump dryer without its filter lets lint into the evaporator, which is a considerably worse problem than the one you started with.
- Cut power at the breaker before any access panel is opened on this platform.
- Terminal block and supply work belongs to an electrician rather than to appliance panel access.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
