What HC (110 / Whirlpool-built Oasis) Means
HC on the Whirlpool-built Oasis platform is refreshingly literal: the hot and cold fill hoses are connected to the wrong inlets on the back of the machine. Nothing inside has failed.
Common Causes of HC (110 / Whirlpool-built Oasis)
- Hoses crossed during installation or after a house move
- Hoses reconnected the wrong way round after the machine was pulled out for cleaning
- A hot and cold pair reversed at the wall rather than at the machine
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Close both taps, swap the two hoses at the machine end so hot lands on hot, and open the taps again; that is the whole repair.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Both taps go off before either hose is undone; a live supply line empties into the room in seconds.
- Swapping the hoses at the wall rather than the machine works only if the wall taps are themselves correctly plumbed.
- Running the machine reversed does not damage it but makes every temperature selection wrong.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty β but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
